Celebrate failure; learn from a mistake!

We look at the topic of failure in this month’s Blue Paper and how (despite what we’re naturally programmed to believe) it’s not always a bad thing.

If you think it might be ‘bad’ – just take a minute to think back to your childhood when you were learning to walk and talk. As children we all fell over and muddled our sentences but of course we just developed our skills and adjusted the process until eventually we succeeded.

This Blue Paper named Making a Success from Failure details how failure often creates opportunities to improve systems, internal communication and much more. In a nutshell, a setback can be a prime time for growth.

Whilst research this topic – I came across lots of great quotes – here are a few from Edison (inventor of the lightbulb) that are thought provoking!

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”

So – please don’t fail me – download our latest Blue Paper & have a read!

New Nifty & Neat!

Looking for a nifty promotional item you’d want the recipient to keep on their desks? Page-Up Memo Holders are new to the range and could be the answer.

These high quality memo holders offer you a prominent branding opportunity and the client a handy holder for urgent paper work, a photograph or to-do message. Available in 6 colours these new giveaways are just fab … and what’s more there’s an eco-friendly Page Up too that’s made from recycled materials.

2 in 1 – useful & eco-friendly promotional items

I received an enquiry from a lady yesterday who wants eco-friendly promotional products to help promote recycling … she said had ordered eco-friendly pens and eco-friendly pencils previously and she was looking for something that can get across a recycling message but she also wanted the products to have another use … Below are a few of the ‘2 in 1’ useful & eco-friendly promotional items I proposed …

Retro Sunglasses – Crockett or Cruise?!

Does that headline giveaway my age away?!

Back in the 80s – I can recall my mum dashing home from an evening out panicking I’d been ‘exposed’ (!) to Tom Cruise in Risky Business … so when I saw these brilliant promotional sunglasses Tom Cruise (and I guess my mum!) was the first person I thought of!

These Retro Sunglasses include a print to the glasses or onto the protective pouch – and I’m sure they’ll be great choice for anyone planning a summer or retro themed promotion.

‘Green’ Pads – now with a pop of colour!

We’ve added 2 new promotional notebooks to our range of eco-friendly promotional products.

Available in 2 sizes (A5 and Jotter – which is similar to A6) these recycled paper notebooks come complete with a pen (made from recycled materials) and each have a pop of colour to the spines – hence we called them Colour Pop Notebooks!

5 printed promotional items for just 1 great price!

I highlighted on Monday a few of the new promotional products that are featured in our new Summer catalogue – another that deserves its own blog post is the a great value stationery set.

Included in the set are 2 of our best selling promotional items –the set includes a printed Calypso pen, a promotional pencil as well as a ruler, eraser and of course the frost pencil case itself.

We think this set will be well received by all recipients (kids and adults alike); and from just 100 units and a price that includes a 1 colour print on each item – we think it’ll be popular with those tasked with ordering too!

Printed Carrier Bags – with a PP twist!

We’ve added a new carrier bag to our bag range – the difference being it’s made from non-woven polypropylene (a recyclable material also known as PP).

Our PP shopper bags are really popular –so we’re interested to see how well PP carrier bags are received – they come in 5 bold colours including a super bright yellow option – that’s bound to get you noticed!

Our Summer 2012 promotional items catalogue is now available!

Our brand new summer catalogue launches today – we’ve featured almost 70 new promotional items including beach balls, a very useful 2 in 1 lens cleaner keyring (for glasses, phones, tablets etc) and budget storm umbrellas (just in case the weather doesn’t improve) that come in a huge range of colour options.

However – speaking of lots of colour ways – I think the star of the new catalogue is going to be our new 4imprint Drawstring Bag; on sale from just 50 bags and in a choice of 14 vibrant colours these printed bags are going be very popular!

Promotional Teddy Bears – the giveaway that lasts a lifetime?!

Our most popular promotional teddy bears are these 2 chaps!

I’ve just been reading an amusing Travelodge press release about the number of adults (a third!) who take their favourite soft toys to bed with them. The survey revealed 35% of adults admitted they sleep with their teddy because they found cuddling their bear comforting and that the calming feeling of a bear hug helps them to de-stress after a hard day.

Another key finding from the research was that 14% of parents surveyed said they’d passed down their favourite bear to their children as a keepsake … so next time you’re looking to order some promotional items – just think of the many years of brand exposure you could get if you order printed teddy bears!

Promotional Products raise funds for St Alphege

Just received these great photos of a stall a customer has made to sell on their printed promotional items – I’m sure you’ll agree the table of goodies looks fantastic!

Proudly on display are eco-friendly jute bags, printed mugs, balloons and promotional pens.

The promotional items are being sold to raise money to fund twelve glass etched screens depicting the life of St Alphege that they hope to have funded by the end of the year. Carole who sent in the photos says that they’ve had a very positive reaction to the memorabilia and that the tote bag in particular is very popular.

Good Luck to Carole and the other fundraisers from everyone at 4imprint!
