I’ve just been reading some of the pledges people from around the world have posted online to celebrate World Earth Day which is this Sunday.

I consider myself as quite ‘into recycling’ – I recycle, we compost, I take reusable bags to the supermarket etc – I think the thing I took away most from the pledges is that most are only committing to something small – but of course, it’s when you add all these bits & bobs together – it should hopefully make a big impact on the environment. Take a look at the pledges if you get a mo – some are quite inspirational too!

Although the UK is experiencing water shortages at present – there appears to be plenty to spare in Manchester this morning – it’s absolutely pouring down!

Travelling to work this morning I spotted plenty of dark blue and black promotional umbrellas – I think to cheer everyone up people should have to carry brightly coloured umbrellas (pink ones!)
