Due to recent sales growth, we are looking to recruit an additional Account Executive for our UK / Ireland sales team.

The main purpose of the role will be to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring sales enquiries, orders and queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be highly driven and enthusiastic with a real passion to succeed and exceed targets as well as the ability to spot opportunities to “up sell” and “cross sell”. You will be responsible for dealing with new and existing customer accounts via inbound emails. Some outbound telephone calls may be required.

With strong communication skills, you will have a natural flair for customer service, and be used to working to tight deadlines sometimes taking a high volume of inbound calls and working towards targets. Sound administrative, organisational and IT skills are crucial for success in the role but more importantly you will have a proven track record in developing new and existing customers.

Other key tasks will include resolving customer claims and keeping the customer database up to date in terms of contact details and marketing preferences.

Applicants should have at least 12 months sales experience in a customer focused environment and previous telephone sales experience is highly desirable. Experience in the promotional merchandise industry would also be a bonus!
In addition applicants should also have exceptional communication skills and personal effectiveness with the ability to plan and organise effectively in a busy pressurised environment where tight deadlines are crucial. The ability to use Microsoft word and excel are required.
