New 4imprint Infographic offers a Guide to Word of Mouth Marketing

(Manchester, UK) – Promotional products retailer 4imprint has created a new infographic detailing why businesses could benefit from encouraging people to share content and make personal recommendations.

The infographic states that ‘word of mouth’ influences up to half of all purchasing decisions, with nearly three-quarters of consumers trusting brand or product recommendations made by family and friends.

In addition, it shows the extent to which different advertising channels prompt conversations about brands, with figures illustrating that TV ads start seven per cent of discussions, while brand websites and in-store activity generate six and five per cent of talks respectively.
