A new logo and a fresh name have been unveiled as part of the relaunch of an American football team based in Bury St Edmunds.
Formerly known as the Brewers, the team will now be called the Bury Saints and it has organised a seven-game league schedule planned for the summer, with practice to start in April.
Head coach and team manager Chris Wallis admitted the last few months have been a frustrating time, but stated the club is now ready to start playing.
Wallis continued: “We need to recruit as many players as we can. No experience is required.”
Bury Saints might need to invest in promotional products including keyrings and pens if they are to raise awareness of the American football team in the area.
An adult side is the priority for Wallis, but the Saints are looking to hear from anybody of any age interested in joining the team. Coaches, team management and volunteers are all needed too.
American football team are back with new name, Bury Free Press.
