The corporate sector fuelled popularity of gift cards and vouchers last year as more firms sought to thank their customers and suppliers with end-of-year promotional gifts.
Figures published by the UK Gift Card & Voucher Association (UKCGVA) show that there was an increase in the business-to-business market of 22 per cent during the last three months of 2011.
The B2B online channel performed particularly well, with like-for-like voucher sales up 12.1 per cent over the period.
Corporate direct sales remain the largest sales channel for vouchers, rising by 46 per cent.
There are lots of ways firms can use promotional items to go alongside gift cards and vouchers.
