The benefits of promotional items are to be highlighted during a conference planned for late 2013.
National Promotional Products Week will be staged between September 16th and 20th and is designed to showcase how promotional merchandise can be used in marketing campaigns to great effect.
As well as providing attendees with a designated logo and promotional pack, there will also be a series of events to improve engagement levels.
Viv Blumfield, chair of the British Promotional Merchandise Association – which is organising the event – said the point of the conference is to “create a very powerful message to as wide an audience as possible during this week”.
She added the timing of the event is deliberate, as it seeks to capture the pre-Christmas season and those planning their schedules for 2014.
It is going to be officially launched to the end-user community in June ahead of the Institute of Promotional Marketing Awards.
