A feline charity will use promotional bags to raise awareness about the work it does to help needy cats in Stourbridge.

The Stourbridge and District Branch of national charity Cats Protection will be staging an event this weekend to showcase cats and kittens in its care that are in need of new homes, reports the Stourbridge News.

On Saturday October 8th the charity hopes people will pile into Kinver Methodist Church Hall to learn about the work it does and, hopefully, adopt a cat for themselves.

As part of the marketing efforts for the event, the branch will be giving out free promotional bags, cat-related promotional merchandise for sale, refreshments and information and advice.

Rob Hall, branch co-ordinator, told the newspaper: “Our homing shows are a great way for anyone interested in adopting a cat or kitten from us to meet some of the lovely felines that we're currently looking after.”
