A roadshow is a great way to get a green message across.

The chance to get right out into the community presents a host of benefits for schools, charities, local councils and a whole raft of other organisations.

Take Wiltshire Council, for example – it’s touring around the county this week to give homeowners advice on changes to their waste collections.

And it could find promotional products really instrumental in spreading the word.

Council officers will be on hand to answer questions on new services being rolled out, which include a fortnightly collection of plastic bottles and cardboard from October.

The council might want to get the message home by using promotional gifts – like new collection dates printed on promotional keyrings, for example.

Or how about a goody bag, packed full of recycling-themed promotional gifts?

“We are encouraging people to come along to the roadshows to ask questions and find out more about the changes which will help them recycle so much more of their waste,” said Wiltshire Council’s Linda Conley.

“Find out about changes to waste and recycling”. Wiltshire Council.
