Promotional bags will be used as part of a special family dog walk and fun show in Ryedale, north Yorkshire.
Bark in the Park is being held at Duncombe Park, Helmsley, this weekend in aid of local charity Ryedale Special Families, reports the Gazette & Herald.
Organisers are hoping more than 100 families with their dogs will come and enjoy the day and raise funds for the charity.
The event features two walks, the four kilometre Woodland Walk or the five kilometre Riverside Walk.
Promotional items will be used to reward all the participants – on completion of the walk each family will receive a certificate and promotional bag.
Organiser Rob Davies told the newspaper: “We wanted to create an event which will appeal to all the family and hopefully become an annual one.”
We like this use of promotional merchandise. A goody bag packed with treats at the end of the walk is sure to put a smile on weary walkers' faces – and will succeed in getting the charity's name out and about, too.
