New 4imprint infographic on what SMEs could learn from successful viral campaigns

(Manchester, UK) Promotional products retailer 4imprint has created a new infographic entitled ‘Going Viral’ which outlines what small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) could learn from successful viral marketing campaigns.

Another key lesson for businesses is that social media can present SMEs with many opportunities to market their brand, with methods such as cleverly created Twitter hashtags helping to shine a spotlight on a campaign. This can help to draw attention not only to a company’s products, but also its brand values and ethos, which can be a good way for it to differentiate itself from rival firms.

The infographic adds that SMEs could consider backing a public stunt or event, such as an occasion that is likely to attract lots of media coverage and/or online discussion. As by associating themselves with an event in this way, they can fundamentally change or reinforce how they are perceived by their target market.
